Why you need a Kayak Cover

  • protects against UV rays.
  • prevents scoring.
  • protects the kayak surface from "bird bundles".
  • eliminates nicks, chips and scratches.
  • helps you find your car in the parking lot.
 
Kayak Covers:

How they work: The bow (front) of the kayak is slipped into the cover. The remainder of the cover, from the cockpit on is closed with a flap and velcro. Webbing straps with quick release buckles hold the cover firmly in place. It's quick and easy.

Construction: Kayak covers are custom made in Maine with coated polyester which is very light with solid true colors. The cover fabric protects from ultraviolet light. Black webbing encircles the whole kayak in different places (the number of straps depend on the size of the kayak) and connects with quick release buckles.

Fit: The kayak conforms to the shape of the kayak but does not fit like skin.

Colors: We have four standard colors or any combination of them. They are: red, forest green, royal blue and light tan.
